Cedric G. Byrd, senior pastor of Providence Church, is known for his relevant and transforming Bible teaching. Cedric and his wife Andrea live in Corpus Christi, Texas. Pastor Cedric and Andrea’s passion to see lives transformed by the presence of Jesus is the driving force behind their personal and down-to-earth approach to church that is impacting many people in the Corpus Christi Metro Area.

Providence is a growing multi-cultural fellowship where the motto is "With God Nothing shall be Impossible". During the past 13 years the Providence Church family has transitioned to a new dimension of EXCELLENCE! The expected and forecasted harvest is pushing the need for our building expansion project that God has given our Pastor. Pastor Byrd values those he shepherd’s and continues to seek ways to invest and pour back into them by hosting and supporting events such as Victory Crusades, Men’s Retreat, Choir Workshop Clinics, Youth Days, Ministry Nights and much more.
Pastor Byrd’s heart beats for serving God with the highest integrity. He is faithfully committed to the strictest levels of personal and professional accountability. Servanthood and hospitality are two areas dear to Pastor Byrd’s heart. He currently serves as a State and National Adjutant. Pastor Byrd is an active member of the Corpus Christi District. He serves as the Vice President of the Coastal Bend Area Fellowship. God continues to show favor upon Pastor Byrd as he is afforded the opportunity to use his ministry gifts for kingdom building to reach across denominational lines.
